It's beginning to feel like braggingÉ heck, it felt like that months ago! The Indie Fest has chosen Season One of Clutch to receive it's Award Of Excellence - the only web series to do so. We're humbled and honoured. And to recognize the outstanding performance by Elitsa Bako as Kylie, The Indie Fest has bestowed her with an Indie of her own!

The International Academy of Visual Arts has recognized Clutch with an Award of Distinction in Video. Out of 6,000 entries this year, we are grateful for the honour.




04/22/2012Calgary, here we come!
Team Clutch is preparing for our journey to Calgary, Alberta for the Calgary Expo. Come visit our Clutch the Series booth where you'll be able to pick up a Season One DVD, Bullet USB key, and for the first time ever, the complete set of 8 Collector Character Cards (the first 4 of which have premiered on our Facebook Fan Page so far. On Saturday April 28 at 2pm, you can MEET THE STARS of Clutch at our panel in the Palamino Room A+B, and on Sunday April 29 at 11am, you can see the entire first season on the big screen in the Screening Room. (Note: 18+ only, ID will be required). Also, Clutch creator/director Jonathan Robbins joins director Justin McConnell (The Collapsed) for a special panel on directing on Sunday at 1pm in Palomino H.

04/08/2012Clutch wins top prize at LA WebFest!

Clutch took home a total of 8 Awards, for Directing, Writing, Cinematography, Editing, Special F/X, Performance by a Leading Actress and the coveted Grand Jury Prize, which means Clutch will be at the Marseille WebFest in October. There we will join 3 other great Canadian series, Out With Dad, Hitman 101 and Divine.

We are thrilled that the good people at Indie Intertube have nominated us in the categories of Best Looking (Cinematography), and Best Action Series. Tune into the awards on March 11 and wish us luck as we compete against Dragon Age: Redemption and Mortal Kombat.

EPISODE 1: YOUR EX-LOVER IS DEAD Part 1 Kylie returns home from a night of pickpocketing bar patrons, expecting to celebrate by partying with her boyfriend. His guests have another idea.

ELITSA BAKO
Starred in TV's "The Time Traveler", and now brings her fighting passionate spirit to the role of Kylie, a pickpocket who will do whatever it takes to survive.
LEA LAWRYNOWICZ
Has performed for Rue Morgue, and now lends her wit, charm, sexy appeal to Bridgette, a character who we'll see quite a lot of.
JEFF SINASAC
Is the star of dozens of short films and is a skilled visual effects artist. He brings his cool headed way and real-life military experience to the role of Mike.
MATTHEW CARVERY
Can be described as Aaron Douglas meets Quentin Tarantino. Born a fanboy, he's a natural fit for the genre, playing Kylie's weasel boyfriend Matt.
BUZZ KOFFMAN
Has worked behind the camera for many years, and jumped in front of it as Commissioner Gordon in a Batman fan film. He's both terrifying and hilarious in the role of The Hatchet Man.
Alexandra Elle
Alexandra is transfixing as the seductive dominatrix Raven whom Kylie must impersonate if she is to pull off the heist of a lifetime. Already a fan favourite, this is one character you are certain to see more of.
Peter Hodgins
With a performance that is part Jack Palance, part Kris Kristofferson, and all intimidating, Peter's portrayal of the ruthless Marcel will make you both chuckle and shudder.
Sarah Strong
An actress capable of incredible intensity and endearing vulnerability, Sarah brings to the role of Danielle a quirky twist, making her an unforgettable character.
DYLAN GEORGE
Is intense and captivating as a Gang Member sent to collect outstanding money.
