Elitsa has won several awards for her starring role in Clutch as Kylie, including Outstanding Performance by a Female at LA Web Fest, the Indie Fest Awards, and the W3s.
Raised on the Black Sea coast of Bulgaria, Elitsa moved to Canada just before her 18th birthday. Elitsa's career took a turn when she booked a small role in the feature film Sweet Karma. Gathering praise and applause from press and industry insiders, the film screened at various festivals and ultimately gained international distribution. Bako's major break came when she landed the lead on APTN's original pilot/series The Time Traveler.
Elitsa was recently seen in Brandon Cronenberg's critically acclaimed feature film debut, ANTIVIRAL, opposite Caleb Landry Jones.
Kylie is a pickpocket, a pro at what she does, but not at spotting the mark. She's content nabbing from the lonely males on barstools, coming home with enough money to pay the rent.
A woman of few words, Kylie was the one in school who no one could figure out, so instead they just avoided.
Matt was the only person who took her at face value and made her feel like she didn't have to hide.
That is until he offered her up in lieu of his debt to the mob…
Now her willingness to survive is what drives her. And she will do whatever it takes.
Jeff got involved in acting from a very young age, but it was after portraying Pseudolus in his
high school production of 'A Funny Thing Happened on the Way to the Forum' that he
realized he wanted to make it a career. He got his BFA in Acting from the University of Windsor, then moved to Toronto where he
has starred in countless nationally and internationally screened short films, and several
features, music videos and television commercials.
Behind the camera, Jeff wrote and produced the visual effects thriller, Red Moon Over Rigger's Pond,
and has worked on visual effects for such films as IMAX's Hubble 3D and the independent feature
A professional thief, Mike knows the streets. He watches, waits and strikes. He won't tell you anything about himself that you don't need to know, and he has lots to tell.
Mike is well-trained in the use of firearms and military tactics. He can certainly handle himself under the tightest of situations. His softspot for women, which he does his best to cover, may be his achilles heel - or it may be his chance at redemption.
Matthew has been described as "Aaron Douglas meets Quentin Tarantino" by Clutch creator, Jonathan Robbins.
He can be seen in the critically acclaimed "Hitler’s Canadians", the award winning short "Zombie Jesus", and the short thriller "Chance".
He is also an active member of the Toronto Web Series Community, and has appeared in the series "The Gate" and the upcoming "Pete Winning and the Pirates".
Matt's a good guy at heart, though you'd never know it. He's a coward above all things, and he'll say whatever who's in charge needs to hear , and do what he needs to do to save his skin.
He begins the series working as a drug runner for Marcel's gang…and unfortunately, he botched a big delivery, leaving some question as to what happened to the $50,000 lost in the trade. .
Matt's got some secrets and a few tricks up his sleeve, the only question is - will the love of Kylie be what drives him to the other side, or what saves him?
Buzz is passionate about storytelling. His career began on stage where he played such roles as Sir Harry in the musical "Once Upon A Mattress" to the memorable Father Mark in "Tony'n'Tina's Wedding". Since recently making the move from Vancouver to Toronto, Buzz has expanded his creativity by working both in front of and behind the camera. His wide range as an actor can be seen in such diverse roles as Commissioner Gordon in a Batman fan flick, to Dr. Josef Mengele in "The Silence". His talent reaches into the post-production world as well, where he is currently creating the visual and sound effects for an edgy new webseries out of Montreal called "Claddagh". From all his experience thus far, most memorable has been his time playing Hatchet Man, when he worked with a dynamic, talented cast and crew. The time he enjoyed with Jonathan, Elitsa, Wil, Matthew, Jeff, Peter, Rick, Dylan, and Alexandra has made him very grateful and proud of the success and recognition "Clutch" has received.
Also known as "The Hatchet Man", Hatch is a debt collector for Marcel, and one of his best. Nicknamed for his penchant for chopping a hand off or more, Hatch could throw his weapon and crack a skull from across the room. Or at least he could have, until he lost sight in one of his eyes and there went his depth perception.
Hatch is a man of artistry. As much as he enjoys carving, he loves to paint. Nude models are a common choice, but he sometimes will capture a moment, or create a self-portrait. Marcel has paid Hatch as much for his artwork as he has for his service, keeping their relationship something unique from the rest.
Lea's fearless performance as Bridgette has raised eyebrows and dropped jaws from many a reviewer of Clutch, but Lea is no stranger to challenging convention and pushing limits.
As a performance artist, Lea has frequently presented for Rue Morgue as Mia Culpa, such as with the Flesh Hook Crucifixion at their 13th Annual Halloween Bash, as well as burlesque work and dance.
She has also appeared in several short films, such as The Facts in the Case of Mister Hollow opposite renowned actor Julian Richings.
A prostitute by choice, Bridgette doesn't really have a choice. Rejected by society, and more importantly, her family, the fragile soul is at rock bottom. She carries with her the worthlessness bestowed upon her by her foster parents. Only when Kylie comes along and shows her that she doesn't need to be the victim, does Bridgette find the strength to live up to her potential.
Some of that comes in the form of her own Cathouse - a safe house for prostitutes to operate independently, and on their own terms. And those girls will never know what Bridgette endures to keep Marcel away from it, or what she will sacrifice.
Peter Hodgins acted in several short films before being cast as Marcel in Clutch.
His characters are varied, but always chosen for their challenges and risk-taking opportunities.
Jonathan Robbins describes him as "the bravest actor I know" and he takes this to the test with his
roles whenever he can. Peter is also a cinematographer, having shot the feature "I Hate Toronto: A Love Story"
on his RED Epic, and is developing several productions of his own.
The leader of his own self-declared mafia, a band of organized thugs who control the city's drug deals and sex trade, Marcel is terrifying.
Smarter than he lets on, Marcel knows how to intimidate, and how to exploit someone for the weaknesses. He gets what he wants when he wants it.
Only a trusted few know that Marcel sees a dominatrix, and they wouldn't dare speak of it. It is through these submissive sessions that Marcel lets out his stresses over holding so much power. But make no mistake, he'll only let go when it is still on his terms. A man of routine on the outside, the truth is, Marcel is terribly unpredictable.
Alexandra made such an impact on the creative team behind Clutch that what was intended to be a one-off character grew into a series lead for Season Two.
Not the first time she has made such an impression, Alexandra starred in Jarek Obsadny's fantastical feature Into the Labyrinth, opposite a Canadian icon, the late Jackie Burroughs.
In addition to several shorts and theatre work, she also appears in the dramatic short My Name is Syn, currently on the festival circuit.
Raven is a dominatrix, who runs her own fetish dungeon, employing several workers in a respectful, well-rewarded arrangement. She cares for her girls very much, but she has made one fatal mistake. She has taken on Marcel as a client, believing that what happens inside the dungeon and out are two separate worlds. After all, another of her clients is the city's police chief.
She is the best at what she does, opting for simple methods tailored to what her client needs, and not afraid to break the rules if it is what they wish. Though only one rule is firm - Raven is in charge.
Raven will learn that there is no neutral, she must choose a side and fight for what is right - and what is taken away from her.
Emily is thrilled to be back as Michelle in Season Two of Clutch!
Known for her versatility, Emily is equally comfortable with the comedic and the dramatic, sexy and nerdy, on stage and on screen.
Bit by the acting bug early on, she starred in her first lead role as the Country Mouse in a production of Aesop's Fables at five years old.
Since then, she has gone on to perform and star in numerous theatre and film productions.
Aside from Clutch, recent favourite roles include: Dahlia Joss in "Byologyc" (transmedia theatre, winning Most Innovative and five stars at Toronto Fringe 2012),
The Neighbour in "My Screaming Neighbours" (webseries), and Ivette, in the upcoming "One Week in Windchocombe" (feature horror).
When not on screen, Emily is an avid photographer, filmmaker, writer, and improviser.
Her longform improv troupe Pandora's Toybox performs scenes based around readings from her actual teenage diary,
and her production company Laughing Cat Productions has several upcoming films in the works.
First met as "The Fetish Guide" in Raven's dungeon, Michelle has been with her for the longest. She makes no attempt to hide her crush on Raven, and is happy to serve as the receptionist at the dungeon, helping new clients find their match and explore their fetishes.
Michelle spent her youth in the army, and held her own against any man. She knows how to fight, she just doesn't want to, because she's seen what fighting accomplishes.
Janelle is thrilled to join the cast of Clutch for Season 2 as Emily, after making a brief appearance in Season 1 (bonus points if you can spot her at the Fetish Dungeon!) Janelle is currently completing her MFA in Acting at York University where she is researching vulnerability and performance. Janelle has spent most of her career on stage and would like to thank Jonathan, Alex and the rest of the Clutch cast and crew for this amazing opportunity. In 2013, you can see her on stage in Theatre at York’s The Knight of the Burning Pestle and A Midsummer Night’s Dream.
Emily worked in Raven's dungeon as a dominatrix herself. She's a play by the rules professional, or at least she was until the rules have been changed - by Marcel.
Now, she bides her time, forced to work in one of Marcel's brothels, under the management of the less than lovely Agatha. There's not much she can do but ride it out, though she doesn't know how much more she can take.
Emily was successful as a fetish worker because she reads people very well. It is that skill that may just save her from being broken in this new life.
Rick Gomes plays The Bodyguard in several episodes of Clutch, famous for his "you have to see it to believe it" scene in Episode 108. He was born in Azores, Portugal and came to Canada when he was 5 years old.
In the late 80's, he got a taste for the film industry when he became a movie extra, and was a "featured extra" on a number of productions.
Although he loved this taste of acting, Baseball was his true love and he pursed a baseball career. Acting lured him back, however, and has since appeared in over 10 feature films, 7 tv/web series and a number of short films. Acting is what got Rick back into the business but through that he discovered his passion - Producing. Since 2009, Rick has been been behind several projects including the feature Advocate and Splinter Cell: Operation Phoenix.
His name is never revealed, as are all of Marcel's bodyguards, but make no mistake - The Bodyguard knows all and sees all. He is Marcel's most trusted man, because he knows when to keep his mouth shut, and he knows how to follow orders.
Though Marcel has gone through many bodyguards, none will ever be as close to him as this one. He's earned that bond and respect, though his stoic presence and professionalism.

Lex is Marcel's adopted daughter. A psychopath in every sense of the word, never having been taught moral value.
She is treated like a child despite being well grown up by now, but she plays into that, exploiting the Lolita image bestowed upon her by a father who doesn't want to lose his prized possession. Lex is a master of manipulation, carefully orchestrating events to go just as she wants them to play out, all the while appearing the innocent bystander.
You never know what Lex will do next, and much of the time, nor does she. But whatever it is, you know that you'll wish she didn't. Just as long as you're not on the receiving end, you should be okay.
A true chameleon, Katherine's talents run the gamut from Improv at Second City

Players sketch comedy/improvisation/rock and roll troupe. Katherine is currently training at
David Mamet's Atlantic Acting School in New York. Look for her in the upcoming "Middle State" in 2013!
A prostitute living and working in Bridgette's Cathouse, Jordan is in love with her madam. She sees through the wall of strength that Bridgette has built, and wants behind it.
